The LifeSync® System is the first wireless electrocardiogram (ECG) data communications system appropriate for use in high acuity settings. It is comprised of our LeadWear® Disposable product and electronic equipment, including a patient transceiver (“PT”) and a monitor transceiver (“MT”). The disposable LeadWear® product is applied to a patients torso with standard ECG electrodes. The PT plugs into the LeadWear® product and is conveniently worn in an armband or placed in a patients hospital gown pocket. The PT transmits ECG and respiration data to the MT. The MT is connected to lead wires that are attached to virtually any patient monitor currently installed in the hospital. The MT will receive the signal from the PT up to thirty feet or more away. The Company received both FCC and FDA approvals to market the LifeSync® System in the U.S. in 2003 and began selling the LifeSync® System in the U.S. in March 2004.

LifeSync Corporation is a medical device company committed to the development of innovative products that improve clinical outcomes for patients through the use of LifeSync® products and technologies. Our business is devoted primarily to the continued development, marketing, and sale of the LifeSync® Wireless ECG System, the first wireless electrocardiogram data communication system appropriate for use in hospital and outpatient settings. LifeSync Corporation was formed in 2000 as GMP Wireless Medicine, Inc.a wholly-owned subsidiary of GMP Companies, Inc. GMP Companies is a privately-held development company whose historical mission was to acquire, develop and commercialize novel pharmaceutical, medical device and diagnostic technologies. Today, the LifeSync® System is the sole commercial business of GMP Companies, Inc.

The LifeSync® System is designed for use in all hospital and outpatient settings where cardiac ECG and respiration monitoring are required. The LifeSync® System quite simply untethers patients from lead wires that traditionally connect them to bedside monitors. As a data communications system, the LifeSync® System uses medical-grade Bluetooth® technology and is compatible with most existing patient monitors. Finally, a clinically viable solution is available for health care facilities seeking a cost-effective, wireless solution for monitoring patients.

In addition to being wireless, the LifeSync® System offers several clinical benefits including significantly increased accuracy of patient alarms and decreased risk to patients of hospital acquired infections (See Benefits). We believe that the LifeSync® System, used in conjunction with existing patient monitors, is quite simply the new standard for ECG monitoring.

LifeSync Corporation has developed its current products based, in part, on patents exclusively licensed from Motorola. Generally, these patents cover the wireless transmission of patient vital signs from the patient to the first evaluator station using digital, two-way communication with error correction technology. LifeSync Corporation intends to license specific applications of our technology to third parties in certain areas where we do not intend to develop products ourselves.
